Update from Kristina...

I am copying this from an email that I got from Kris on Friday:

Sorry it has been a while since I have emailed everyone. It has been a really rough week here. Bare with me while I bring you up to date. Brian has been really sick for over a week. The vomiting started again and has been constant for about 7 days. This was prior to him starting the chemo. The doctor has put him back on his steroid to reduce swelling once again. We were told that the radiation can cause swelling, and that it will just take some time for it to go down. In about two weeks he will begin tapering off the steroid hoping that the swelling is gone by then. At that point we will possibly look at doing another scan on his head. He started his chemo this last Monday night. This week has been very emotionally draining for me and physically for him. He took his steroid last night, and said that today had been his best day all week. As if there wasn't enough to deal with now he has shingles. He started medication for it today as well. We are anxious to do a scan, but we have to wait for all of the treatment to do its' thing. Please continue to pray that all the treatment works, and that his body will tolerate it at the same time. It will be about three weeks before we go back in again, but I will talk to you all before then.

Love Kristina

As of Sunday afternoon-
Kris says that Brian is feeling better. The steriods are helping with the nausea, and he hasn't gotten sick since last Thursday. Thanks for all of the prayers- God is good!
On another note, Patty's husband Phillip is set to deploy to Qatar sometime this week. He will be oversears for 6 months. Please pray for his safety and Patty's sanity while he is gone and she is home with their three kiddos!!

Cynthia :)
