People have always said, "If you don't like today's weather, just stick around, it'll be different tomorrow!" Well, yesterday you only had to wait for about 4 hours! It was unseasonably warm yesterday morning when I took Andrew to school- about 60 degrees at 8:15am. I left the house at 10:40 to pick him up for an orthodontist appointment and it was up to 67 degrees and beautifully sunny, but windy. After the addition of a 'quad helix' to his complex orthodontics, we left Dr. Lowder's office at about 12:15 and it was 42 degrees! I was SO glad that I had thrown my coat in the car!!!! :) The wind was howling- up to 56mph gusts! It had gotten completely cloudy, too! We headed to the mall to meet Nana for lunch. We left the mall and headed home at about 1:30pm (Andrew was in a lot of pain, so he got to skip the rest of the school day). The temp was down to 29 degrees and there were snow flurries in the air!!! Complete craziness!!!
I'll just be happy if we all stay well- and can stick it out until Spring!!! It would be nice to have one big snow here in NWA, tho.... BUT, I really do look forward to warmer weather!
