I just wanted to give you a quick update. At the moment I am in the right frame of mind to do so. Yesterday was really hard. The doctors along with the family made the decision to stop the steroids Tuesday night. The steroids were being used in hopes that the swelling would come down and he could have some good quality of life left, but that has not been the case. Brian has lost all strength in his lower body, and had gotten to where he could not even stand up. With taking him off of the steroid we had to start a morphine drip to take care of the pain. He is resting peacefully without any pain now, but he is no longer responding to anyone. His blood pressure is dropping, so it will only be a matter of time. When Jesus is ready to take him I will be ready to let go. I am at peace with this and know that he will be healed once in the presence of God. I talked with Makayla last night, and she is a trooper! She looked me in the eye and told me to keep the faith and not loose hope. And here I've been worried about talking to her! Anyway, continue to pray for a peace with Brian, and plenty of grace for the rest of the family.
