Back to School!

Yesterday was the first day back to school. Everything went smoothly- we had to get 3 boys to 3 different schools this year! We dropped off Matthew first at JO Kelly Middle School. He was excited to be going to a new school this year. He is in the Champions Pod and has Mr. Lily for his homebase class. Matthew says he is really cool. :)

Next, we dropped Sam off at George Elementary to start his 5th grade year- our 10th and final year to have kids in elementary school! It was bitter-sweet walking him to class for the last time- my baby! His teacher is Mrs. Jongewaard (pronounced young-ward). She was an instructional assistant in 4th grade last year, so Sam was excited to get her for his teacher this year.

Randy went on to work after dropping Sam off, so I dropped Andrew off for the beginning of his Freshman year at George Junior High School. He was ready, I guess, to start.... but texted me later in the day that he was very unhappy because he didn't have any classes OR lunch with Maggie.... He does have lots of his friends in most of his classes, tho. I think he will survive...

I started back to work yesterday at the office- I will be working Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for the most part, like last year.
